This is a very comprehensive guidebook to the different bouldering circuits in Fontainebleau. It covers all the popular areas, as well as the less popular outline areas that are not covered in detail in other guidebooks. Hence this is a good choice of guidebook for the seasoned Fontainebleau visitor. 

The areas covered are Yveline & Essonnes Nord (near Palaiseau), L’Essonne rive gauche (near La Ferte-Alais), Vallee de L’Ecole (near Chevanne), Trois Pignons, Franchard, Apremont, Cuvier and Chatillon, areas immediately to the north and south Fontainebleau, around Nemours, around Larchant (Elephant) and around Malesherbes.

The guidebook is in full colour throughout with easy-to-follow maps of each area, and neatly detailed overviews of the boulders and the bouldering circuits each area has to offer. Printed in 2010 it is in German text only, with plenty of good quality action photographs.
